Meet Our Team
Dedicated & Educated
De'Shawn Wright
Headmistress
As a child, playing teacher was one of my favorite things to do! No, really, it was! After 7 years in education, I have found my purpose. It is my desire to leave the legacy of "the love of learning" to all children within our care. It is also my desire to discover news ways to present information so that all children may experience the opportunities they desire. I am a Georgia Certified Teacher in Middle Grades Science, I hold a Bachelor's in Biology and a Masters of Public Administration in Human Services. Though I pursued education through the non-traditional route, I vow to continue researching the best practices and resources to give our children the academic advantages they so deserve. I look forward to developing community villages of support and "creating lifelong learners" through Kingdom Kreations Academy!
Mrs. Alfreida Jenkins
Lead Teacher
I am committed to providing a positive, safe and stimulating environment for all children to learn, achieve their potential and become independent life-long learners. A happy child is successful when given the proper tools to succeed. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology. “ It takes a village to rear children in today’s society.” Kingdom Kreations Academy is the foundation.
Yvonne Forrest
Lead Teacher
Currently, Yvonne Simmons-Forrest is a Substitute Teacher in the Richmond County school system. She teaches Special Education and K-12 students. Mrs. Forrest earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, at HBCU Paine College, Augusta GA. She is also a licensed Insurance Agent and holds a certificate in Medical Terminology. In 1978, Mrs. Forrest served as District Health Educator for 13 counties in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). In non-traditional classroom settings, she implemented preventative approaches aimed at promoting positive behavior choices, to clients (particularly those in rural areas) who had limited knowledge or access to quality health care. In 1985, Mrs. Forrest moved into yet another area of non-traditional education when she accepted a position with The Allstate Insurance Co., Northbrook, Ill. Her position in the role of Agency Manager gave her another opportunity to thoroughly educate her clients about various financial and investment products to further enhance their family’s security. She was awarded Agent of the Month and also earned the company’s Honor Ring, for excellence. Additionally, Mrs. Forrest mentored others toward successful careers in insurance. Although Mrs. Forrest has retired from the insurance industry, she remains committed to applying lifelong experiences as an educator and businesswoman in a more traditional teaching arena to inspire the young minds of our "future leaders".
